About the plant
The entire plant is located in the industrial chemical complex in Lovosice and operates using state-of-the-art technology from the Belgian-Italian giant DeSmet Ballestra. The modern facility processes 460,000 tons of rapeseed annually, from which it produces rapeseed oil methyl ester (biofuel), extracted and extruded rapeseed meal (feed material), pharmaceutical-grade glycerin, oil as a raw material for the production of edible rapeseed oil, and, from 2023, edible rapeseed oil (on January 1, 2023, a merger took place with the subsidiary PREOL FOOD, a.s., which operated an edible oil refinery; PREOL is its successor company).
PREOL, a.s. is also involved in the promotion and development of biofuels in the Czech Republic and the European Union within the European Biodiesel Board, an association of biodiesel producers.
Production

- production of vegetable oil and rapeseed meal
- oleochemical production of rapeseed oil methyl ester and glycerin
- production of edible rapeseed oil
- production of BIOCHAR (plant-based charcoal)

We produce rapeseed oil, rapeseed oil methyl ester (RME), and glycerin.
Rapeseed meal
We offer raw materials for the feed industry, including extracted and extruded rapeseed meal (By+).
The company also produces edible rapeseed oil and distilled glycerin.
Biochar (plant carbon) is a natural porous carbonaceous material that can contribute to a better environment and sustainability.
