PREOL, a.s. is the largest Czech processor of rapeseed. At our modern plant in Lovosice, we produce biofuels, animal feed, edible oil, and pharmaceutical-grade glycerin. We process up to 460,000 tons of rapeseed annually using state-of-the-art technology from DeSmet Ballestra.
We are part of the AGROFERT group and actively participate in the development and promotion of biofuels within the Czech Republic and the EU (SVB, EBB, ČTPB).

The entire plant is located in the industrial chemical complex in Lovosice and operates using state-of-the-art technology from the Belgian-Italian giant DeSmet Ballestra. The modern facility processes 460,000 tons of rapeseed annually, from which it produces rapeseed oil methyl ester (biofuel), extracted and extruded rapeseed meal.

PREOL Biochar
Biochar (plant carbon) is a natural porous carbonaceous material that can contribute to a better environment and sustainability. It also improves soil quality, thereby ensuring higher fertility. Thanks to its sponge-like structure, it has the ability to retain moisture, bind nutrients, and support microbial life. Biochar is also an effective tool for long-term carbon storage.
